Everyones been raving about this thing for ages now, so I set up my free trial, downloaded the software, installed it, ran it... watched it crash :( Tried again, it crashed again. I virtually threw my computer out of my none virtual window. I was really looking forward to spending hours dressing my mini me up in all kinds of silly outfits (just like I do with my real me). It seems my graphics card isn't supported, so if there are any nice guys out there who like my pics, please send me a graphics card (email me for my address). Thanks :) xx

SecondLife bahhhh, I joined, seems my graphics card (which is meant to be a good one) isn't good enough and I need broadband which I cant get in my area quite yet. Anyway it's free to join so Im there as Lana Madonna so on the days I actually manage to at least get in there, look me up.

Are you saying your GFX card does not have 32Mb of RAM and is lower than a GForce2 and ATI 8500? How is that possible? You could pick one up on eBay for about a tenner. Or you could have my spare one that is collecting dust at the bottom of my drawer.

Well being as my comps at least 3 years old yes that's exactly what Im saying. I hav a ProSavage card which runs any other 3D worlds so it hasn't been an issue till now. But hey, they do sell them in the shops here in peasant-land so I'll probably mosey on down and get me one soon. Probably the BIGGEST problem is Im also still on dialup being as broadband isn't here quite yet where I live on the hills overlooking the city.
I'll just be patient till I get it sorted anyway, no biggie.

wheeeeeeeee Im on broadband now and it's made a hell of a differeence, I can do stuff in there now without crashing although the graphics arent 100% yet its still pretty cool :)
