This thing is so cute! It's a little bluetooth sqirrel that answers your phone for you, and you can tell it whether to take a message or put you through. It'll quietly wave at you when a call comes in and it can tell if there are other people around. I so want one of these sat on my desk! :) The website is here and they have some videos.

Download from iTunes for £7.99
I wasn't really all that excited about the new Coldplay album, it's been out for a while and the singles weren't really grabbing me. I've only just got a copy and started listening to it properly.

With the security their two previous albums have brought them, they could easily have followed Radioheads lead down the road of experimentalism. Instead they have managed to create some great new sounds, but kept all the atmosphere of the other albums. Martin's song writing is as strong and moving as ever, there are plenty of tracks to make your hair stand on end. My fave is Fix You, which nearly makes me cry every time :)

I think next time they're going to have to try something a bit different, but then I thought that with this album, and they proved me wrong!

So I should check out some of their older stuff? I wasn't even excited enough by this one to cough up the cash.

I know becky has already posted about this recently, but it is really cool. I've marked on the ski resorts I've been to and flew between them, I even found the spot where I fractured my foot in January (I'm still limping). The satellite photo was taken in the summer though, so it looks a bit different.

How the hell do you put these things on? I bought some ages ago, big pink and purple lashes. They're huge and I think I need to cut them down but I'm worried I'll mess up the shape, and I just cant seem to get them to stick on properly anyway. I think if I can get them sorted they'll look pretty cool. Got some other great accessories today for Manchester :)

Mia:
I'm no help getting them on. However, if they are already an unrealistic color like pink and purple, go for an unrealistic length too. Don't cut them down!

I've always noticed that some TVs like to dress more "girly" than any self respecting girl would, shorter skirts, more makeup. I thought that maybe it was some kind of over compensation for their male side. Even though very short skirts don't really hide your maleness :-/

I've started doing it myself recently and I think I do it for a slightly different reason: pure attention! Yes I would have to categorise myself as the exhibitionist type (example). It's a new side of me that I quite like, I always kinda fancied being a pro drag queen, and think I should probably thank Becky for convincing me to buy that outfit and give it a go. Now I need to figure out how to push the boundaries a little further, there are so many fantastic outfits out there! (Please send donations for Jessica's Super High Platforms fund to the following address... ;) )

Gemma:
You're going to push the boundaries of the infra-pink? This is getting scary! Any thoughts on where you're going to take the world of trannydom? :D
Kate Weston:
Well I clinked on the 'example' link ... when I regained the power of sight I armed myself with a pair of sun-glasses and examined the pic again. Thats a very pink pink, and thats a very short skirt and I am fascinated to see where your boundary pushing will take you. (you surely can't get pinker and the skirt surely can't get shorter.)
Mia:
I have thought about this subject as well adn have come to some conclusions of my own. Firstly, as sad as it is, the maturity level of our tranny side is not even with the maturity of our body (male or female) usually. So we tend to try to pull off the "13 year old girl" look when we are 18, 25, or 30. We need to learn to restrain ourselves to age appropriate clothes (at least when headed out). Secondly, I know very few trannys who wear flats. It just isn't girly enough in our eyes. We grew up as boys wearing nothing with a heel and so now that we can why shouldn't we? This seems to be a common attitude as well. Unfortunately, it doesn't stop there. Some T*girls seem to think that even 1 or 2" heels aren't high enough and consequently we end up wearing 3,4, and 5" heels all the time! How many real girls do that? I have several other theories on this phenomenon, including something amounting to "trying to make up for lost time". It is all rather interesting.
Jane:
I say go for it, just as long as you have fun doing so.

Mia, as a women with only size 5 feet, I find wearing even 3 inch heels hard I don't think I could wear 4 inch ones at all as I would almost be on tip toe all the time, that's why we don't tend to wear the really high heels we can't do it comfortably.
Jessica:
I'm 6'4 and I still can't bring myself to wear flats! Heels are just better, they change your whole stature and walk, make it all girlier.
Emily:
Wearing heels DEFINATELY gives one a more feminine walk. You have to walk feminine or fall on your butt! And as far as "real" women, I could sit out in my jeans and t-shirt and be as real as most of the women in my town, and I do that sometimes, but other times that's not the point. It's not about "real" it's about unreal!
Mia:
That is definitely true, unreal is fun sometimes. I wear an 8.5 US and so I can definitely find 3 and 4" heels that I can wear. I really think that you should dress however you want in private, but go a bit on the realitic side in a public place (besides Transmission or some other trans oriented place). On a shopping trip lets say. It pays to pass in that instance and 4" heels and a uber mini are not going to help you pass unless you are 15.
Mia:
Oh! Left something out. Yes! Heels do force you to walk like a woman. One time at a party I was at with some really close friends (who didn't know at the time) I ended up wearing a pair of heels. Of course, this wasn't my first time, but I told them it was. They were like "Wow! You look like you've done this before!" All I said was I was doing what I had to not to fall on my ass. They totally bought it. Cause it is the truth.

The most popular page on my site is obviously the pictures, but coming a close second for some reason is my dress up game, I get hundreds of visits everyday from this dress up game website. Are these things really popular? Are people just looking for pictures of naked girls with their clothes strewn all over the floor? Maybe I should put some more work into that game and make it a little more interesting. How about doing it with a real photo of me instead!

Now I've got this blog I find myself sitting here thinking "hmm, what to blog about?". I've just realised that the only thing that's been occupying me the last few days, other than work, telly and eating, is setting up this site! It's sad really, I'm just the modern version of the radio enthusiast who builds his own radio so he can talk to other people about radios, DIT DIT DIT DIT DAH DAH DIT DIT.

I violently hated Eugene the whole time he was in the house (big brother if you don't know). Sophie couldn't understand why, she thought he was really nice! I just saw the person I was afraid of being anything like, I was so Eugene at school. Although now I'm a trendy popular super tranny!

I think I could probably go off on a Becky style essay about the psychology behind why I do what I do these days, but it's getting late. I'll save it for another day.
