Listening to
This story totally passed me by, apparently it happened some time last week. I probably missed it because it only seems to have been carried by The Sun. George Best's son (who is apparently some kind of celebrity?) was seen making out with this pretty cute girl, who is a pre-op TS. She could do so much better :)

Listening to Fantastic Plastic Machine - S'il vous plait
My birthday is coming up soon, but Becky says it would be really tacky of me to post an amazon wishlist, or a paypal donate button. As much as the pikey in me is resisting I'm inclined to agree (even though Miss K got anonymous presents!). I just felt compelled to plug my birthday anyway, its the 25th of May, and it'll be the big two four! I think that's officially MID twenties, scary :-/

So add it to your calendars!

I agree with Jane.

Listening to The Buzzcocks - Promises
It's sunday, I've been bored, so I started flicking through my site logs. My second top referring site for the last couple of days is this japanese blog. I stuck it through babelfish and it appears to be reviews of TV's and their websites. The most recent one is about Siobhan. The best bit is the links to clothes shops where you can buy clothes just like her! The dress he found for me is just like mine! Sort of.

The only thing I'm not sure about is "baseball fist", what does it mean and why does he keep calling me one?

Congratulations!!!!
Kate Weston:
Not a hundred percent sure but I believe baseball fist is the english translation of the word the Japanese use for the Rock, Scissors, Paper game

Sophie just sent me a link to an online petition, trying to get the United Nations to update the wording in a few places in their charter, to include people of all genders and of undefined gender. I'm aware of the way TS/TG/TV people are treated in various parts of the world, it's horrible. I'm not really sure how these changes to the UN charter will make any difference, it seemed a little pedantic really. I signed it though, it seemed like the right thing to do.

Tea & Trisha?Tuesday, May 02, 2006
Listening to
I'm sure a few of you will have gotten one of these, but for those who haven't, The Trisha show are after a tranny, again. Not really my thing but if anyone is interested I'll forward you the details. Here is the blurb:

This week we are working with Jamil Qureshi, one of the UK's leading 'new wave' mentalist performers. He uses different tactics including hypnosis, Neuro Lingual Programming and psychological thought-reading.

We are inviting those with phobias and fears in their lives to take part on the programme to work with Jamil and conquer these fears. We are looking to include a wide range of issues, one of which is to find a transvestite who is afraid to identify themselves as they wish (maybe afraid to dress in a particular way), to give them confidence and a high self esteem so they are able to do as they desire.

We are recording this Friday in London and we pay all transport and accommodation.

Jane:
Sounds ghastly.
April Angell:
yay - another opportunity to be gawped at by plebs in this tedious freak show.
Kath Adams:
so let me get this right, they are looking for someone who is afraid to identify themselves, to go on national TV, to get a hypnotist to help them gain the confidence to identify themselves? If the hypnotist fails to give them the confidence, won't they have done it anyway? Aren't they really after someone who is a self publicist to go on and pretend to be, then pretend...

Actually, the strangest thing is I spent a minute of my life even thinking about it!
